We went out for lunch at a dim sum restaurant.
Avery practicing her chopstick skills by picking up peanuts. |
Pan-fried radish cakes. They were not good. |
These were so good. Steamed egg cream buns. |
The inside. They were hot too. |
Our favorite type of dim sum. Steamed meat buns. |
Inside the noodle pocket is soup broth and a meat patty. You stab the noodle to release the broth and cool everything down. Then you drink the broth and eat the rest. It's so good. |
The rice. |
The lone black bean. |

We went to the Ladies Market after Dim sum. We bought some things and I did not get any pictures.
A crooked picture of Avery cooking dinner for us. |
We had caesar salad, broccoli, and a pork chop. |

More dessert chocolate. |
Avery's chopstick skills reminds me of this quote from Napoleon Dynamite: "You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills. Forget flower bouquets and work on developing some captivating skills."
ReplyDeleteAvery, this is truly a captivating skill that'll snag u a boyfriend!!

The steamed egg cream buns look just like a soft boiled egg...inside and out!
OK, I was expecting way more glutinous rice in that lotus leaf. R u supposed to eat the leaf too?
The lone black bean....any relation to the Lone Ranger?
There's this thing called "rotate"...you should learn how to use it.
This pork chop looks way better than the pan fried burnt thing you had on Cathey Pacific.
Ya, that kid could use a few more desserts. And a shave.
Did you get the winning ticket Charlie?
