Day 2

Here is what we have been having for breakfast.

Milk and cereal.

We also ate some chocolate for breakfast.

If only they sold these in America.
The chocolate half. We aren't really sure what is in the shell, but it tastes like nutella.

The toy half. I happen to get a croquet set.

My croquet. It was a lot harder than it looks.

For lunch we went down to Main Street again and found a deli. We had sandwiches with turkey, english mild cheddar, mayo, and mustard, on french bread.

Here are some more views of the island we are on.
One part of a curvy Main Street.

We have no idea what these are, but they sell them right next to the other fruits.

It explains itself.

If you look closly you will see a cat chilling under the air conditioner. Avery noticed him.

A gate that I like.

We think these are pomegranites. Did you know pomegranites grow on trees?

Something that is growing on a tree.
Avery standing by a tree on steroids.

A rooty tree.

We took the ferrie to Hong Kong or Central as they call it to have dinner.

View from an escalator. I like the Pac Man sign.

Cool dragon decor on the building.

Part of the restaurant that we ate dinner at. I really liked their decorating.

It was mediterranian.

Even though it was air conditioned, we were all dripping sweat. It was 90 degrees today with a lot of humidity.

The restaurant was family style. The crouton looking thing is actually goat cheese, that tasted like a cheese curd but healthier.

A hummas spread thing, that you put on a torilla shell.

Some spicy shawarma meat and salad. I had a form of Shawarma and so did Greyson for those people that saw The Avengers with us.

We eat ate one meatball and had these noodles. I'm not really sure what anything was that we ate, but it was all really good.

I'm a little weird with what I take pictures of, but I really liked their sink. I though the orange tile was cool and also the faucet.
...

They have these bumps every where you go. They guide the blind. I think they are a cool invention. We should have them in America.
The tall building that Batman jumped off in his second movie.
"Yo Mama" frozen yogurt!

  1. I feel your pain. It was super hot and humid here today too. Our high was 93, but with the humidity it felt like 103. It's 90 here at 10pm. Supposed to be hot and humid for the next 4-5 days...ugh. I was in the garden most of the day and got a little sick from the heat.

That orange sink looks a little dirty for my taste. Was it in the restaurant that you ate in? Rule of thumb..if the bathroom is dirty, the kitchen is going to be dirty too. I hope no one has gotten sick yet.

I like the shot of the Batman skyscraper and the shot of your croquet set is good too. I like how the giraffe is in focus and everything else is blurred. The food shots from the restaurant are a little orange. Were they with or without a flash?

    I don't get the Avengers/Shawarma comment.

Yo Mama wishes she had some brba!
