We had more CoCo Krunch for breakfast. We also had more sandwiches for lunch. At 3 we got off the island and met our dad in Kowloon. Last weekend it was the Dragon Boat Festival. We missed it, but they had some examples of the boats still up. I especially like the animals inside them.
You will begin to notice that Greyson is bad at posing for photo's. |

I thought the whole in the middle of that building was cool. |
For some reason I found what this guy is saying to be funny. "Always hold the handrail" |
It is Greyson and me! I have the camera and Greyson has the video game controller. |

I thought this was really cool. They put a design on the bottom of the escalator. Good way to make it look more attractive. |
French toast with a twist. They make a peanut butter sandwich and deep fry it. Then you dip it in sugar honey. It is very good. |

We went the oldest book store in Hong Kong. I liked the way the stairs sounded when you walked up them. They were kind of hollow sounding.
We went home and it was my turn to cook dinner.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun filled day! Too bad you missed the Dragon Boat Festival, but at least you got to see some of the boats. I love the balloon sculptures, I've never seen anything like that before! Did parts of Kowloon seem familiar to you? I think you find the instructions to "always hold the handrail" funny because they are the complete opposite from what I've always said... " AND DON'T TOUCH THAT GERMY HANDRAIL!" You should start buying bottles of water, I know it's a hassle to carry around but it is better than getting dehydrated. I see Greyson has learned to drink his water "Josh style". The deep fried peanut butter sammiches dipped in honey actually look good. If we could find a way to put them on a stick, we could sell them at the state fair! I'll look into that one. Your dinner looks delish, I find the propane tank for fuel in the kitchen....um interesting. I remember milk buns from the little chinese bakery we always hit on Canal Street in NYC.
ReplyDeleteOh, btw...did you take pictures of the oldest bookstore in HK? Or the stairs?? I have meh stairs board on pinterest....meh likes pictures of stairs. I imagine the bookstore looking Harry Potterish, yes?
ReplyDeleteHa, I just noticed Greyson was standing next to McDull on the dragon boat. Also noticed Avery has her whistle, hope ya'll are wearin' your whistles!
ReplyDeleteSyd, I will buy you water anytime you are thirsty! TELL ME YOU NEED WATER!!!!
